In Good Company: Celebrating Women Artists
In honor of SWAN Day 2016 (Support Women Artists Now) and Celebrating Women's History month, the Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center and the Silicon Valley Women's Caucus for Art present a juried exhibit at the Bankhead Theater Visitors Center. We are seeking works that reflect the creativity, diversity, and resourcefulness of women. Works in the following categories are accepted: painting, drawing, photo, printmaking, collage, assemblage, mixed media, fiber art.
PROSPECTUS
Our SWAN Day venue, The Bankhead Theater, is the cultural arts hub in Livermore, a busy performing arts center, offering a wide range of performances and receptions from musicals to scientific talks, which are popular with the public. Thousands of visitors attend these performances each month, offering a broad audience for the artwork displayed in the theater lobby. In addition, the Bankhead Theater lobby now is open 7 days a week from noon -6 pm. featuring a visitors center. This exhibition is jointly presented by the Bothwell Arts Center (a part of Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center) and the Silicon Valley Women’s Caucus for Art (SVWCA). Note: Deliveries are to be made to the Bankhead Theater (front entrance) at 2400 First Street, Livermore, CA 94550, with 2 identifying labels attached securely to the lower portion of the back and the side of your work. You must check in with staff for verification before your departure.
